It's not going to teach them anything to present a yellow in the situation that you described ... nothing except to teach the kids that some ref's are dumb as a box of rocks. That being said ... one of the things I have hated about playing is that depending on the league you get the same ref's game in and game out. If you upset 'em once, you're likely to be in the dog house time and time again. Morale of the story - shut up and play hard - let the cards fall where they may - and never take it personally.
