I Knew My Kids Were Monkeys…
Especially, that Ethan kid. But, I never knew WHY they were such monkeys… until last week that is. It seems Sage and I can climb a wall with the best of them. Note the photos of us at our local LifeTime Fitness rock wall. We took all the boys there last week because they are constantly bugging us to take them there, and the fact that the twins are now 5 and "legal" as far as climbing rock walls is concerned… Oh, and the fact that we pay a monthly fee to be members of the place.
Ethan and Avery are quite adept and climbing and if they had tails, would be true monkeys. Isaac and Owen may not have got that gene though. They were fairly timid on their first tries up the wall. Both only reached the middle of the wall before they got scared of being too high. I'm not sure why they were scared. The automatic belays were almost strong enough to pull them up the wall without them doing any work. We had to attach and extra length of rope to "pull" them back to earth after they let go of the wall.
I guess were going to have to try again soon.

Looks like a lot of fun. I have never tried a rock wall before, if you can believe it. You all might have to take Uncle Ian to gym next month to teach me how.

Ethan is a regular spider monkey! & How neat is that, you can post a video? That’s awesome. I just might have to switch to word press just for that option.
