Wrinkled Thoughts

Yep, as of January 16th, 2008, Missy Moo is officially a Service. She even has a birth certificate to prove it!

The trip to court was fairly uneventful, even the judge was kind of a stick in the mud. It was mildly amusing however when the judge had to ask our lawyer if all was in order as far as adoptions go. I guess he doesn't preside over too many of them, and this was kind of a treat. There were a few criminals in the room waiting for their turn.

Roseanne and Abigail flew up early (for the temple sealing) and were there to take pictures for us. Our good friends Christina and Cory came too, and we all went to breakfast after. Here's a few shots Roseanne took for us.

I should have taught them how to ride their bike LAST SUMMER, but I decided against it. Now that we've had our official night of learning, I'm glad I waited.

That was the easiest time I've ever had teaching kids to ride a bike. In fact, Isaac pretty much just jumped on and took off without me. It was GREAT! He proceeded to ride circles around his brother Owen until I could get him up to speed.

It only took Owen 3 or 4 runs before he was rolling too. Course, he's not quite up to Isaac yet after one night (he can't turn around yet) but he'll get there. We've all decided we need to get them new bikes for their 6th birthday. Enjoy the videos!
