Over the years (many) I have worn many hats in many different positions. Besides working for myself as an all-around "web guy", user experience designer, and marketing consultant, I have developed countless web sites and and web applications. Since obtaining my Masters Degree in 2010, my primary focus shifted to User Experience Design almost exclusively. I do still dabble in a little web application programming to keep my CSS and overall UI skills sharp.
UX design lets me indulge in my artistic side while creating beautiful and functional interfaces that work for all audiences and display sizes. My focus is on web application design, which has a whole plethora of design problems to tackle that aren't seen in standard web site "brochure" design. Solving those problems is what makes what I do satisfying and even fun!
I figure I've been playing, coaching, refereeing, and administrating in the world of soccer for over 45 years. I was captain of my JUCO team and have coached for almost 25 years. Currently, I help with club administration for AYSO United Arizona and coach the varsity girls soccer team at Westwood High School in Mesa, Arizona.
I have been happily married since August of 1993 (that's 31 years this year). I have 5 children - 4 boys and a daughter. The 4 boys are all adults now (last 2 are identical twins) and my daughter is a "fun" high-schooler. My wife is the best Social Worker on the planet and earned her undergrad degree and then Master's in her mid-forties. She's truly awesome. Besides soccer, I enjoy a good video game (VR is my new obsession) and pretty much anything that is "techy". Traveling with my family is always a fun time I always look forward to. Find me a good river to fly fish and I'm in heaven.
I am always looking for Christmas and Travel money (soccer tournaments) so if you have a project you'd like me to look at, let me know.
